A living window into Moncton, Dieppe, Riverview and Shediac, New Brunswick. Six building highlights across four communities rotate every 30 seconds in TV mode. Building photographs and an architectural rendering are animated with weather effects and a simulated night treatment based on local sunrise and sunset. Conditions refresh every 10 minutes using Open-Meteo’s weather models; the scenes are not a live camera feed. 1035 Melanson Rd and 100 Murray are featured with an animated weather backdrop. Images are credited below.

Set up your IPTV box

Start with your box model

Check the label underneath your box or its Settings → About screen. The brand, exact model and software determine whether it can open this site or install an app.

My IPTV box has a web browser
  1. Connect the box to the internet and open its browser.
  2. Enter https://differweatherlive.cmijaresdiffer.chatgpt.site.
  3. Sign in with your authorized account if prompted, then select Full screen. TV mode is already on.
  4. Watch for 4 minutes to check all eight building highlights. Use Pause tour to hold a location.

If the remote cannot select a control or enter text, try a compatible USB mouse or keyboard if your box supports one.

My box supports Android apps

If a compatible browser is already installed or available through your box’s supported app store, try the browser steps above. Web-app installation depends on that browser; a phone installation option may not be available on the TV box.

No Android TV APK is available from this site yet. Confirm your exact box model before choosing a native app approach.

My box only opens an IPTV portal or channel list

Ask your IPTV administrator whether the box and portal support opening a web page. This website address is not a video stream or a playable IPTV channel URL.

Adding the weather display as a channel would require a separate video feed and integration with your IPTV system. That is not configured here.

Device compatibility has not been tested. This site requires authorized sign-in. If the box cannot open the site or complete sign-in, use the laptop-and-HDMI test below.

Alternative: laptop to TV

  1. Connect your laptop to the TV with HDMI and select that HDMI input.
  2. Open DiFFER Weather Live on the laptop and sign in with your authorized account if prompted.
  3. Leave TV mode on and select Full screen. The scenes change every 30 seconds.

You can also try the website in your smart TV’s browser, or mirror your computer screen to a compatible TV. Browser, sign-in and full-screen support vary by TV.

This site currently requires an authorized sign-in. If your TV cannot complete sign-in, use the laptop and HDMI method.

Install the web app

Open the site in your regular browser first. You’ll get an app icon and a separate app window on supported devices. Internet access is required for opening the app and updating weather.

Open Chrome’s three-dot menu → Cast, save, and share → Install page as app. If an install icon appears in the address bar, you can use that instead.

Open the browser menu and look for Install app or Add to Home screen. Follow the prompt. The wording and installation option depend on your device and browser.

Open the website in Safari. Use Share → Add to Home Screen, then confirm Add. If shown, enable Open as Web App.
